Kenny & Christa's Family

Kenny is another friend of my husband. He and his wife Christa have three very cute, well behaved children. We went to a small park outside of my husband's hometown to take a few pics of the kids and a few family pics, as well.

Mandy's Kids

Mandy and I were both pregnant with our children at the same time. It was so nice having somebody to talk to that understood exactly what I was going through. I ended up having Abri in the beginning of February and Mandy had her son less than a week later.

A couple months ago, I asked Mandy if she would like me to take some pictures of her kids, and she happily agreed. It was so fun watching her son and my daughter play together, since Abri doesn't usually get to be around a lot of kids her age.

Puppies!

Our Cocker Spaniels, Lady and Tramp (and yes I did name them after the Disney movie,) are proud parents once again. 5 little puppies (3 girls and 2 boys) were born last week. Our daughter is loving them, to say the least. I had to post a picture of her with them. She was trying to feed the puppy a piece of dog food.

Jake & Amanda

Jake has been a friend of my husband's long before I ever came into the picture. The first time I ever met Eli, Jake was with him, so over the years I have been privaleged to get to know him and adopt him as one of my friends too! He is one of the nicest, sweetest guys you'll ever meet. We were thrilled when he finally found Amanda. They are a perfect match and it's easy to see how much happiness they bring each other.

Brittany

So, I realize this is way past the fact, but I told you, I was busy trying to play catch up! Over Thanksgiving break, Jaylene (a friend from school) and I met up with Brittany and her mom to do an outdoor shoot. It was freezing cold, and Brittany was such a good sport. You'ld never guess how cold it was from the pictures, though!

2009 Here I Come

It's official! I'm posting my very first official blog post! Exciting, huh!? Well, I'm not much of a blogger, but I will do my best. I've been wanting to start a blog for a little while now, but just haven't had the time to do it. I figured what better time than the start of a new year. 2008 was busy, busy, busy. I just now am beginning to feel like I can take a step back and breathe. I still have lots of editing to get caught up on, but hopefully with the holidays over, I'll have time to start playing catch up. I'm also currently working on getting my website finished, so hopefully I'll have that done in a week or so. I'll leave you with a photograph of my darling daughter that I took on New Years Eve day. It's nothing special, taken at the kitchen table with just natural light coming in through the sliding glass doors.
